The Museum of Sungai Lembing built by the Museums and Antiquities Department with the objectives of propagating the information and exhibiting the proofs of its’ history as well as Pahang. The town of Sungai Lembing lies 42 kilometers from Kuantan town with the well-built road system. Visitors will be entertained with the spectacular knowledge on the subterranean tin mining, which was once acknowledged as the largest subterranean mine in the world.

Historically, Sungai Lembing was a rich and famous town, as the main producer of tin and coal in Pahang. It was called as the East El-Dorado in Tanah Melayu as situated a Village of the English community here. The history of tin mining here is believably started since the prehistorically period and was intensively managed by a British company, the Pahang Consolidated Company Limited (PCCL), started from 1906 till it’s liquidation on 1986.

Berjaya Bukit Tinggi

Bukit Tinggi is a small town in Bentong, ​​Pahang and located in a tropical rainforest with a height of 2500 feet above sea level. The highlands of Bukit Tinggi provide fresh, comfortable air and are ideal for relaxation after a long year of working. Located on a beautiful and classic hill, Bukit Tinggi offers its own unique twists and turns, and even inspires visitors. The temperature in the surrounding area is between 22 and 26 ° Celsius cool and cool.

 

Themed by a famous city in France, it is known as the Colmar Tropicale. The European-style buildings and lush tropical forests make it feel like you’re in France. Visitors can also go on horse rides in the area provided. For children, it is very convenient for them to play with the rabbits in the Rabbit Farm.

 

How To Get There

By Car : From Kuala Lumpur to Bukit Tinggi approximately 60 minutes and from Kuantan approximately 2.5 hours drive. 

By Bus : From Berjaya Times Square or KL Plaza Bukit Bintang, there’s a shuttle bus operated by Bukit Tinggi Resort. It’s run start from 10.00 am, 1.00 pm and 5.00 pm. There also bus operated by another company depart from KL Sentral and take about 1 hour to arrive.

Genting Highlands

Genting Highlands is the most developed of the hill resorts in Malaysia, and was founded in 1965. Situated 54 km north of Kuala Lumpur, Genting Highlands is the perfect escape for those seeking relaxation and entertainment in a cool montane setting. Genting Highlands offers a lot of attractions such as an international class casino ,international standard hotels, and fun and excitement at the Genting Indoor Theme Park and Outdoor Theme Park. The International Showroom features shows from all over the world. There are more than 35 restaurants, bowling alley, swimming pool, video arcades, karaoke lounges, discos, etc.

There is a golf course and other sporting activities such as horse riding, abseiling and mountain biking. Walk away from the resorts, and you will begin to find some fascinating relicts of montane forests. Enjoy the cable car right up to the summit, the lower station is situated near the Awana Golf and Country Resort. The 20 minute ride ascends from 914m to 1768m.

Genting Highlands is situated about 2,000 meters above sea level and can be approached either from the state of Selangor or Pahang.

You can see, feel and smell the oldest tropical rainforest in the world. NUSA CAMP welcomes you to experience the atmosphere and witness for yourself nature in its pure virgin form.

The accommodation available are in the form of Malay house, Malay cottage ‘A’ Frame chalet and dorm. For those who wish to stay outside, we have an area meant for camping.

We also have a restaurant adjacent to the Tembeling River which offers good local delicacies at very reasonable prices. Its sister company, SPKG Tours Sdn Bhd operates air conditioned van and shuttle bus from Kuala Lumpur to Kuala Tembeling, which is the main entrance to the National Park or Taman Negara. Then you have to board the boat operated by Nusa Express from Kuala Tembeling to Nusa Camp at RM38.00 per person return trip. The boat leaves Kuala Tembeling at 9.00 am and 2.00 pm daily except on Fridays it operates at 2.30 pm.

The Nusa Riverbus is by far the cheapest means of transport. The rates ranges from as low as RM3.00 to RM15.00 per way.
