Kapas Island

Kapas Island is a haven of relaxing tropical atmosphere and is located in the South China Sea, about 20 minutes’ drive from Marang Jetty, Terengganu with a distance of only 6 kilometers. It is known as Kapas Island because the beach sand is white like a cotton. The white and clean beach here is very impressive to the visitors who come here. How To Get To Kapas Island

Tourists can board a boat or ferry at Marang Jetty. Don’t get the wrong jetty either, because there is another jetty in Terengganu, the Merang Jetty, but only to Redang Island. Tickets can be purchased in advance at Marang Jetty to avoid congestion. The journey to reach Kapas Island is only about 30 minutes. The earliest boat or ferry trip is from 9.00 am.
